Built in 1930 as a community hub, now known as Makki Masjid, it is a divine place workshop for the Muslim community of Chicago and beyond. Overcoming two significant fires, it was rebuilt and reopened in 2003, later expanding in 2016, welcoming numerous community members every day. Makki Masjid is a sacred place of worship for its community members by encouraging faith, service, and much more through:
